FAQ
How are your paintings made?
Each piece is created with sculpted acrylic paint that I pipe like frosting to build dimension and texture. Every petal and leaf is shaped by hand, so no two paintings are ever alike.
How long do your paintings take to ship?
If the piece is already created and listed on my website, it’s ready to ship (unless otherwise noted). These typically ship within 5–10 business days.
Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive an email with tracking information.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS NOW AVAILABLE!
🌎 International shipping is available!
At this time, international orders are handled separately from the website.
If you live outside the U.S. and would like to purchase a piece, please email me directly to arrange shipping and payment details.
See “Shipping * Returns” for more information.
Do your paintings arrive ready to hang?
Yes — each piece comes with hanging hardware installed and is ready to display right out of the box.
How are paintings packaged for shipping?
Each painting is carefully wrapped, secured in place and boxed to protect the sculpted paint surface during transit. I ship using insured carriers to make sure your piece arrives safely. On occasion, a petal or two can flatten slightly — this does not diminish the overall look of the painting.
Can I pick up locally instead of shipping?
I welcome this! If you’re located near Lancaster, PA, local pickup can be arranged. Just mention it when you place your order or reach out by email. You’ll also get a small reimbursement for removing the need to ship
Do you take custom orders?
Yes — custom work is the heart of what I do.
I accept commissions for wedding bouquets, pets, homes, abstracts, florals, or any unique idea you’d love to see brought to life in sculpted paint.
Pricing depends on the size, complexity, and level of detail (the number and types of flowers, amount of paint, etc.).
Wedding bouquets start at 4” keepsakes for $250. A popular choice is 12” which starts at $975
Larger or more intricate works are quoted individually after discussing your vision.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin. The remaining balance is due within 30 days of completion. Once the final payment is received and the painting has cured, it will be carefully packaged and shipped.
I understand that life happens — if unexpected circumstances arise, I’ll always do my best to work with you.
Please fill out the Commission Requests form should you have any further questions.
Do you use reference photos for bouquet commissions
Yes! You can send me photos of your bouquet (even if they’re from years ago), and I’ll recreate it as faithfully as possible — or we can give it a dreamy, artistic twist based on your vision.
Care & longevity
Each painting is made to last and can be gently cleaned when needed.
To dust:
Use a soft-bristled paintbrush (a larger brush for broad areas, smaller for fine details).
Or use compressed air for hard-to-reach spots.
To clean:
Acrylic paint is water-resistant and very durable. You can wipe it gently with a damp cloth. (The creator of the paint brand has even hosed his pieces down — I’ve personally used a Waterpik to clean mine!
Are your paintings sealed?
The paint I use does not need to be sealed! It is museum quality and lightfast, meaning it won’t fade; however, do avoid direct sunlight as you would with any painting. Acrylic paint is extremely durable and won’t crack or fade under normal indoor conditions.
Can I hang my painting in a bathroom or sunny spot?
Yes, but avoid direct sunlight or prolonged humidity if possible. A bright bathroom or sunlit wall is fine, as long as it’s not constantly damp or in harsh UV light. With this type of paint, Hugh heats and direct sun can soften the acrylic. This is not detrimental as it will harden when it cools, but should be avoided.
